  1. A perfect selection considering the sudden menace of the new Chinese corona virus and the stock market losing over 500 points at the beginning his morning.

    1. The market came back pretty strong today. The dip may have been a temporary aberration. The next few days are sure to tell us more.

    1. I've always njoyed it too. It came out when I was 11 years old. TV was still new, but I remember this film was heavily advertized on TV at the time, and the ads FASCINATED me.

I don't care what they sy but her, I've always lie Jan Crawford. She came from a very poor background, and had the grit and perseverance to make herself a beautiful creature with incredble glamour and allure –– AND she had a very long, highly successful career.

Movies are (or were) all about creating marvellous, compelling ILLUSIONS. Crawford was great at that,

I'm sorry if her personal life was unhappy, but she was a great STAR who contributed much to Amerian popular culture at the time before it descended to the production of depraved, demoralizing, out-an-out FILTH.

I never hear of Prisons broad
    ___ by Soldiers bettered down,
Bu I tug –– childish –– at my bars ––
    __ only to fail again.
