If you listened to ELIJAH, there was a public competiton of sorts between Our Lord God, JEHOVAH, and the pagan God BA'AL.
As porteayed by Mendelsson's magnificent music, the competition was, indeed, dramatic, and at times CHILLING.
However, to make long story short, The God of Abraham, isaac and Jacob WON and the false god Ba'al was discredited and thus vanquished.
Than, the RAIN for which the parched, suffering victims of a long drought had been longing finally came, and the story ends triumphantly with the mighty, brilliantly stirring chorus

Poor Johnny Boy, whose main ambition these days is to be my nemesis, qualifies metaphorically as a worshipper of BAAL. In other words our Johnny Boy for whatever reason was positioned, probably by his brash heathen parents, undoubtedly pseudo-sophisticates devoted to "PROGRESSIVISM" to follow the WRONG "god."
Delete"Progressivism" in case you don't yet realize it is a code term for MARXISM, which the "Progressives" would vehemently deny, of course.

The problem is the uncanny power the DEVIL (evil) has to make himself, appear both plausible, potentially helpful, PERSUASIVE and ATTRACTIVE.
The Devil promotes Ignorance, Sloth, Laziness, Envy, Greed, Malice and Vapidity by making those things –– all of which glamorize the AVOIDANCE of taking RESPONSIBILITY by acting CREATIVELY, DEVOTEDLY, ENERGETICALLY and PROACTIVELY to do one's best as an individual to combat all that's undesirable and destructive –– appear SEDUCTIVE.
The Quick Fix. –– The Easy Way Out. –– The Comforting Belief that "I Am A VIctim of Forced Beyond My Control Who Must Be BLAMED and PUNISHED."
What do all those negatives have in common?
They want YOU to DENY that YOU have any POWER to overcome, or accept RESPONSIBILITY for ANY of the undesirable things that happen to you.
In other words The Devil wants you to feel POWERLESS and threfore HELPESS.
He wants YOU to become a NONENTITY, which sutomaticlly transforms you into a de facto SERVANT of the POWERS of DARKNESS, DECAY and DEGENERACY.
GOD gave ALL of us tremendous potential to DO GOOD. His desire is for us to work very hard all our lves to FULFILL that POTENTIAL.

On Saturday evening I drove to a local pizza joint to pick up a pizza. (snip) A TV at the pizza place, however, was tuned to CNN. It showed the Coronavirus death toll: 12,000-plus worldwide and 285 in the United States. The numbers stunned me. Not following the news closely, I presumed, based on the hysteria in the air, that the numbers had to be at least ten times that high both nationally and internationally. 285? According to the Center for Disease Control 185 Americans died of drug overdoses every day in 2018. . . .

ReplyDeleteAs we all know, it is no doubt that we are in very troubled times, but it is also the time for your, and my voice to be heard, as we speak out about this scourge that our great nation is facing these days. And I firmly believe that we (you and I) must encourage our fellow Conservative/Republican allies to stay strong in these troubled times… Even if you take away nothing else from reading my post today, and from listening to our favorite radio/TV stations. It is very important, and even URGENT to get the message out that we the “Silent Majority” are fully aware of what is going on in Washington these days.
We know that the Democrats are playing politics and pushing their agenda full of their Socialist, and “Give Me Goodies” rather than getting together and getting to work to help all those people out there that are Crying For Help, who NEED Our Help. And who need it Right Now!
Yesterday Senator Susan Collins spoke on the Senate floor saying the following:
"I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT THE ANSWER" TO THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS FROM SENATE DEMOCRATS "IS DELAY, DELAY, DELAY. NO SENSE OF URGENCY."
"NEVER HAVE I SEEN REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS FAIL TO COME TOGETHER WHEN CONFRONTED WITH A CRISIS. IS THAT WHAT WE’VE COME TO?"
She said that in response to the DELAY of passing this MUCH NEEDED bill by the so called “Speaker of the House” Nancy Pelousy!
But regardless of who said it, or who she said it about, This Is the Time Is The Right Time For A "Stimulus" Payout, and not to play political games with the lives of our fellow Americans! .
We are seeing people that have spent a lifetime building up a business, and seeing it crumble in a few weeks right before their eyes. We have fellow Americans unable to support their families because this scourge has put them OUT Of Work!
Is it better to see people to lose their homes, their businesses, and not able to feed their kids, so that we can fund Planned Parenthood? Or ground certain Cars because they Omit too much gas, and destroy the environment. Or to give a Free Pass to Students with Student Loans. So that they could party in Miami Beach?
Millions of American workers have had their paycheck suddenly disappeared because the Chinese hid the fact that they had a Virus in their Country that was spreading like wild-fire, and our American Citizens are paying a big price for that!
And the Democrats are using this crisis to jam through their “GREEN NEW DEAL” and the STUDENT LOAN BAILOUT which will push the entire Country into Bankruptcy faster than a New York minute!
The Democrats want to use their bargaining power for money for Solar and Wind Energy, to help their Climate Control agenda. . And to Hell with the victims of corona virus!
After all, what good is a check to pay their Mortage going to do for anyone if they can't put Solar Panels on the roof?
That’s their answer! I told you many times before that the Democrats were only interested in their own power! And Meanwhile while our fellow American’s are suffering, and waiting for help, and relief, Nancy Pelosi is playing games with their lives.
But. Stay Strong Fellow Patriots, with a strong Republican Senate, we are not going to allow that to happen... !
So, .don’t be afraid to speak your mind. don’t be afraid remind your Lefty friends, and relatives it’s okay to agree to disagree with them.. They aren’t afraid to express their hatred about everything that ou President says, and does. After all, He is NOT THEIR President!
If those people can’t except the differences you have with them politically, don’t keep them in your life. It’s a waste of time and effort and honestly it just holds you back
Shame on them! Their vision of make this country into a Socialist Shithole just isn’t going to fly!

For the second time in as many weeks, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is attempting to exploit the coronavirus crisis to push her abortion agenda on the American people.
During the development of the first stimulus bill to tackle the coronavirus situation, White House officials caught Pelosi trying to force Americans to fund abortions because she put funding in the bill under a section of HHS where the provisions of the Hyde Amendment would not apply.
Now, Pelosi is trying to include funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion company in the bill to provide economic relief for small businesses, even though Planned Parenthood is a profitable abortion corporation that technically is a nonprofit.
