RAPE

How would
YOU
define
it?

  1. Rape is forcible sexual relations with a person against that person's will by the legal definition.

Follow God's Law, my brothers and sisters! The only unsinful sex in The Lord's eyes is between a man and woman wedded in holy matrimony.

    2. She followed him up to his room

Let him pet her till smoke
      –– made a plume

      From lying beside her

Till they both caught on fire.

      Then, she cried "RAPE!,"
–– and thus sealed his Doom!

    3. If they both caught on fire, then the sex was consensual, IMO.

    4. EXACTLY! That's not a matter of opinion either, AOW, but of FACT.

    2. Look up the meaning of SEDUCTION. I don't think you either know or understand it.

    3. I did. It CAN be associated with rape. Seduction which turns to non consensual forcible sex is rape. However, seduction which results in consensual would not be rape.

    2. The contents of MY mind are not at issue here. We are only interested in what OTHERS may think about the implications these questions might raise for society.

    1. I agree, but many-if-not-most FEMINAZIS would disagree quite vehemently.

    1. Society has been routinely subject to "EAR RAPE" ever since Rock 'n Roll became part of the Pop Music Scene. Tha tstarted in 1954-55, so it's been a full SIXtY-FIVE YEARS of relentless, merciless assailt on the eardrums of society. all those years

R'nR has cheapened us, coarsened us and desensitized us to elegance, refinement, charm, grace, sophistication ,–– and most of all to true beauty –– to an alarming –– to me HORRIFYING –– degree.

That is not "a matter of taste," it is a matter of FACT.

  9. A "dialectic" of music...?

    Plato, "Protagoras"

I (Socrates) proceeded: Is not a Sophist, Hippocrates, one who deals wholesale or retail in the food of the soul? To me that appears to be his nature.

And what, Socrates, is the food of the soul?

Surely, I said, knowledge is the food of the soul; and we must take care, my friend, that the Sophist does not deceive us when he praises what he sells, like the dealers wholesale or retail who sell the food of the body; for they praise indiscriminately all their goods, without knowing what are really beneficial or hurtful: neither do their customers know, with the exception of any trainer or physician who may happen to buy of them. In like manner those who carry about the wares of knowledge, and make the round of the cities, and sell or retail them to any customer who is in want of them, praise them all alike; though I should not wonder, O my friend, if many of them were really ignorant of their effect upon the soul; and their customers equally ignorant, unless he who buys of them happens to be a physician of the soul. If, therefore, you have understanding of what is good and evil, you may safely buy knowledge of Protagoras or of any one; but if not, then, O my friend, pause, and do not hazard your dearest interests at a game of chance. For there is far greater peril in buying knowledge than in buying meat and drink: the one you purchase of the wholesale or retail dealer, and carry them away in other vessels, and before you receive them into the body as food, you may deposit them at home and call in any experienced friend who knows what is good to be eaten or drunken, and what not, and how much, and when; and then the danger of purchasing them is not so great. But you cannot buy the wares of knowledge and carry them away in another vessel; when you have paid for them you must receive them into the soul and go your way, either greatly harmed or greatly benefited; and therefore we should deliberate and take counsel with our elders; for we are still young—too young to determine such a matter. And now let us go, as we were intending, and hear Protagoras; and when we have heard what he has to say, we may take counsel of others; for not only is Protagoras at the house of Callias, but there is Hippias of Elis, and, if I am not mistaken, Prodicus of Ceos, and several other wise men.

    1. I believe one mght "buy" access to KNOWLEDGE" and even memorize huge chunks of it, and acquire enough skill to be able to quote and share it with others, BUT one can NEVER "buy "a proper UNDERSTANDING of that knowledge any more than one can "buy" Wisdom, Good Taste, Integrity, a Noble Idsposition, a Handsomel Face and Figure or Genuine Affection.

  10. Given that rape is a "nonconsensual penetration"... perhaps THIS, then, is the Feminazi argument, much as your argument's against my taste in music consist of an affront upon your "trained" ear.

    1. Perhaps, but MY frank adoration of classical music was not "taught" to me. It was INNATE, just as my frank REVULSION at Rock 'n Roll and its even more hideous derivatives is EQUALLY innate.

The enduring ROTTENmusical TASTE of the American Public –– a product of "conditioning" by Cultural Marxist mental; moral, spiritual, intellectual and aesthetic TERMIRES" i'm certain –– has made grocery shopping, eating out, going to the movies, and too often even setting in doctors' waiting rooms virtal TORTURE for me.

I would have to say that ANY unbidden physical ASSAULT on the senses is in essence a form of RAPE.

Bt I'll be damned before I'd want to pas LAW against it. I simply AVOID it as much as possible by staying in the sanctity of my very beautiful home where –– and I alone –– have control over what I permit to penetrate my consciousness.

    1. Please DON't. Unbidden NOISE POLLUTION one of THE most offensive forms of ASSAULT and BATTERY.

I believe I would prefer to be physically beaten than to be forced to endure a lengthy session of Rock 'n Roll, et al. against my will.

  12. Smoking is nose/lung rape. Remember when we let the liberals ban it? Second hand smoke became a taboo. Now direct and second hand audio wave penetrations are being band (w/o "trigger warnings").
