There is little doubt that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, representing parts of Queens and the Bronx, is being treated as a leader of a new Democratic swing to the left. Nor is there much doubt that the media-savvy upset winner in New York’s 14th congressional district combines personal charisma with a knack for policy packaging, as with her “Green New Deal.” But before she’s anointed as representative of a political trend, it’s worth looking closely at how many—or how few—votes she received compared with other members of Congress, including moderate Democrats, and what that says about a little-discussed aspect ...
Why? Because crabby Republicans are obsessed with her and cannot stop talking about her.

DeleteThe situation between the Young Communists verses the Old Guard Socialists reminds me of a movie from the 80’s. I can’t remember the name. It starred Jeremy Irons as the scion of a wealthy and landed South American family. He runs wild as youth in the 1940’s, including raping peasant girls. He eventually marries, has a daughter and takes over the plantation when his father dies. By the 1960’s the country is embroiled in a Marxist revolution and an illegitimate son from one of the raped peasant girls becomes the governor of region. He takes great delight in raping his half-sister and tormenting his father (Jeremy Irons) with the details of his crimes for which his daughter paid. I still remember the moment in the movie where Irons’ character realizes he is reaping what he sowed.

She has quietly been groomed behind the scenes to appeal to the target demographics of the Democrat party: Blacks, Hispanics, white Socialists, and the hordes of new immigrants swarming our borders.
Like Obama, she has a radical agenda and is using all media including social media to insert herself constantly into the public discussion. Name recognition is everything in politics and in a very short time, she has accomplished that requirement - everyone knows her name.
Again, please do not be taken in by her role of adorable innocent. She is serious about her mission and dangerous. It is up to us to be vigilant and to watch her carefully.
