I never knew that, AOW. I'll try to find time to do a little research and get back to you, but we are DEEP into the current Big Project, and hope to complete it by the end of this week. (Mum's the word! ;-)

DeleteMoussorgsky's orginal version is a bit longer. Stoeky was GREAT at making transcriptions (that's what we say instead of "arrangements" in the classical music world.)

BTW, my Halloween post will go up tonight. Warning: you won't like the last selection I chose.
Also, I'm not happy about one of the classical selections I chose in that a few seconds after the selection ended, up came some hideous music while the credits were rolling. But I stuck with that selection because of the creepy animation.

The latest charges against Schiff come as the ongoing impeachment process has been rot with allegations of bias where Schiff has been conducting a closed-door investigation interviewing witnesses whose testimony has been selectively leaked to the press to frame the president.
Schiff was instructing witnesses testifying behind the Closed Doors of the House Intelligence Committee of Democrats not to answer questions asked by Republican members.
One question that Schiff barred a witness from answering reportedly came from Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan, who asked Vindman to disclose the individuals with whom he shared information about the July 25 phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky.
This is getting to be absolutely ridiculous! I can no longer recognize these people as being Americans!
The witness is a leaker and Schiff coached him.... they are both complicate in a Coup D'etat. Schiff was covering was his own lying ass

For a while I believed it really was Her Heinous talking.
Only problem with the Lip Synch video is that HillaRat the Defecrat didn't look too bad for a change.
I'll bet she's spent at least a 100K on cosmetic dentistry. I REMEMBER what a snuggle-toothed young hag she was when she first started to pollute the scene. Her TEETh don't look so bad now, but that PHONY SMILE she's always flashing at the cameras makes my stomach turn and my flesh crawl.
