      Thank you, Ed. Things went well here. We even managed to buid a fire for two little boys who'd only seen "blazing hearths" in movies and magazine illustrations At six and eight they were duly enchanted. We could hardly persuade them to leave the hearth rug and eat their Christmas dinner.

      I was only sorry we didn't hve the means to produce a classic Christmas snowfall to complete the picture. <];^}>

      Reality beats Virtual Reality every time, I think.

      I hope you too had a beautiful day, yesterday, and will continue to celebrate the Birth of Our Lord for the full TWELVE DAYS of CHRISTMAS.

      I never take the tree down and put the deocrations away till after Epiphany.
